Step 1; Reducing excess estrogen & testosterone (DIM)DIM (diindolylmethane) is a phytonutrient derived from vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, and kale. It works by blocking androgen receptors (i.e. male hormones like Testosterone) by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme. This stops the conversion of testosterone in to estrogen. Estrogen excess is often the root cause of many hormonal issues.
 
Step 2; Liver Support & removal of hormones from the body (Milk Thistle Complex).
The liver is a main mode of estrogen breakdown and so it is important to support the liver, so that you can ensure the estrogens are safley removed from your body. Milk thistle is a natural herb which provides the active flavonoid silymarin, which is thought to help support liver detoxfication. Artichoke is another species of thistle, which is also used to support digestion and intestinal health. Artichoke also supports normal blood lipid (fat) levels and normal liver function. Choline helps to support the normal metabolism or breakdown of fats. It helps to prevent the build-up of fats in the liver by transporting them for other uses in the body. It is in this way that choline helps to maintain normal liver function I would also recommed eating plenty of fibre to support regular and healthy bowel movements.
 
If you suffer with constipation, I would recommed getting to the root of that issue before starting on DIM & milk thistle.
